The food is brought out on a super-hot volcanic rock, which proceeds to cook your meal as you cut off small portions and lay them down on it. Very unique meal! This was at a place called Stone Grill.

This car came complete with a built in water fountain in the back seat. Seriously.

Almost everywhere I had coffee in Vancouver they did some art in the foam like this. Nice touch. It’s the little things that count (once you accept that their coffee is better than most you get in America anyway).

Small and neglected compared to some of the others in the city, for some reason it was actually getting some attention today.

Awesome trick – stand at the center of the galaxy diagram on the ground in front of Einstein and when you say something to him, it’s echoed back to you in stereo.

This is how you get around at the Washington D.C. airport. They have hydraulics to raise/lower them so they can get to the right height for each terminal. Awesome.

The morning we left from Bremer Bay.

Driving around near Bremer is like being on a safari, you just pull over to see the wildlife. This was a pretty big one – a couple meters long.
