This has *never* been done before!

Inside a hotel suite?! Seriously.

The Martinis were poured through the ice, so that they were cooled by the time they got to your glass down the bottom.

Hustlin’ at pool again?

Down at the pool

Ray and Doan got a little excited when I pulled Twinkies out of my pockets, so they threw them at each other and smeared them on each other’s faces… strange, strange kids.

Every time I turned around, someone let off a cool firework right behind me – I *finally* caught one, with the tree wrapped in Christmas lights in the foreground.

Not Alcatraz, I mean the *other* island.

Outside my bedroom window

There was too much excitement going on at the Gay Pride Parade for this little trooper – she flagged early.

Showing their support

Sort of. From the heavy steel door on the side of the recreation yard on Alcatraz, this is the view… amazing.

Strange machinery near Jack London Square.

Heading back to SF on the ferry

There are lots of stairs on Alcatraz. From the dock to the prison is the equivalent of a 13-storey building apparently.

This building burned down during the Indian occupation of Alcatraz (after it closed as a prison)
